As of July 2010, this area was completely redesigned and is being recast as a comprehensive resource of things I've developed that you may want to use. This page now contains two kinds of freebie resources: Technical (which it did before), and "After Hours" or leisure items. As with the berries, "grab a handful," and come back for more--as often as you want. No calories!

You'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view many documents in this sections. You probably already have this, but if you do not, you can get and install it from Adobe's web site, http://www.adobe.com.

Slideshare |
Web site where many, not all, of my presentations are available. I'm also putting the major presentations on my own site to be sure they are available in case things change at Slideshare. NOTE: to download presentations from Slideshare, you'll need to open a free account. |
| This is all about ECM systems issues, where ECM is a broad tent term covering all subjects related to content management throughout the content lifecycle. On this blog I call myself the "Content Curmudgeon," where I point out the good and the bad (curmudgeonly). | |
| Here I am the "green hornet," explaining the issues of "peak oil" and how to live sustainably. It isn't easy. This blog started with a world-wide social story-tellling site (sponsored in part by PBS) where we all described the effects of an oil shock. | |

| Presented at Enterprise Search Summit, 2010, at NYC. Searching can be fun, but really what people want to do is to Find --not just search. This version has my speaker notes, which is what I emphasized at the conference. | |
| Articles I've written, InterChange99 presentation (as a PDF file), and a multimedia example demonstrating a special new feature in Acrobat 4.0. Old, but you'd be surprised how many people still don't understand the power of Acrobat. | |
| Somewhat dated, still perhaps useful. However, all links to all my presentations are also found on this page -- XML as well as other technical subjects. As a writer about technical subjects, XML is of great interest as a way to write-once, deliver-many. | |
